LaunchDarkly turns Guardian from a plan card into a paid add-on and drops the plan selector
What happened
Between the Aug 3, 2026 and Aug 10, 2026 captures of Launchdarkly's pricing page, Pulse recorded 5 changes: Guardian goes from its own plan card to a paid add-on listed inside Enterprise and priced separately; the CodeControl / AgentControl selector is removed; Foundation gets a pay-as-you-go button, included service connections and an Enterprise trial button appears. In detail: Guardian went from a plan card to a paid add-on priced separately. Its own card ('Everything in Enterprise, plus', custom pricing, 'Get custom pricing' button) is gone and it now sits inside the Enterprise card as 'Paid add-on'; its column in the compare table was dropped and four compare rows are marked 'Guardian only'; The CodeControl / AgentControl / Full Platform track selector was removed: the Developer, Foundation and Enterprise cards now show directly under the page heading, and Guardian no longer has a card of its own; Foundation card button went from 'Start free trial' to 'Pay as you go', with a new line '14-day trial, then pay as you go. No platform or seat fees.'; Foundation card now lists '5 service connections included, pay as you go beyond'; the card had no included-connections line before; Enterprise trial added: the Enterprise card gained a 'Get Enterprise trial' button next to 'Get custom pricing'. Its price line was also shortened to 'Custom pricing'. Pulse files it as a packaging change (add-on change, package change, trial change, threshold added) with an upward direction. The current page lists Foundation at $10.
