Telnyx Conversationalai voice AI estimate rises to $0.06/min as Kimi GPU LLM rate climbs 50%

Between the Sep 14, 2026 and Sep 21, 2026 captures of Telnyx's pricing page, Pulse recorded one change: Telnyx raised its Kimi LLM rate on Telnyx-owned GPUs from ~$0.004/min to ~$0.006/min, lifting the estimated all-in production-agent rate from $0.056/min to $0.06/min. The cost estimator's LLM-token line doubled ($0.0032->$0.0064) and the monthly estimate at 230,000 minutes rose from ~$12,968 to ~$13,700; the 10K-minute comparison total went from $564 to $596. The $0.05/min voice engine and $0.0032/min telephony rates are unchanged. A new footnote also discloses that voice-engine charges round up to 60-second increments. Pulse files it as a pricing change (price increase) with an upward direction. Pulse's latest capture (Oct 12, 2026) lists Growth at $2,000, Enterprise at $5,000 and Pay as you go at $0.05 voice engine per minute (orchestration + hosted STT + hosted TTS bundled) + $0 Voice API platform fee per minute.

It lands 41 days after Telnyx's previous change, "Telnyx Conversationalai: Call recording, phone number & SMS rates increased" (Aug 11, 2026). Before that Pulse recorded "Telnyx Conversationalai: new 3-tier plans ($500/$5K min) + SIP trunking rates revealed" (Aug 4, 2026). Telnyx has been tracked since 2026-04-29.
