Surfshark adds +3 extra months to its 24-month plans (27 months in all) at about the same first-term totals
What happened
Between the Jul 1, 2024 and Oct 1, 2024 captures of Surfshark's pricing page, Pulse recorded 5 changes: The October 2024 capture shows 24-month plans with 3 extra months (27 months for one first-term price: Starter $59.13, One $72.63, One+ $115.83) against 24 months for $59.76, $76.56 and $119.28 in July. The lower per-month figures on the page come from spreading the total over 3 more months, so this is a free-months promotion, not a 12-16% price cut. The 7-day free trial was replaced by a 30-day money-back guarantee. In detail: Surfshark Starter plan decreased from $2.49/mo to $2.19/mo (12% decrease); 7-day free trial removed, replaced with 30-day money-back guarantee; Surfshark One plan decreased from $3.19/mo to $2.69/mo (16% decrease); Surfshark One+ plan decreased from $4.97/mo to $4.29/mo (14% decrease); +3 EXTRA months promotion added to 24-month plans. Pulse files it as a pricing change (price decrease, trial change, discount added) with a downward direction. Pulse's latest capture (Oct 19, 2026) lists Surfshark Starter at $2.49, Surfshark One at $2.49 and Surfshark One+ at $3.99.
Surfshark's previous recorded change was "Surfshark Introduces 7-Day Free Trial for 12-Month and 24-Month Plans, Enhancing User Experience with Expanded Trial Options" (Q2 2024). Surfshark has been tracked since 2024-10-01.
