Qdrant launches three-tier cloud pricing with free inference models
What happened
Between the Dec 29, 2025 and Mar 30, 2026 captures of Qdrant's pricing page, Pulse recorded 2 changes: Managed Cloud single-plan structure replaced with three explicit tiers: Free Tier (free forever, single node), Standard Tier (usage-based, dedicated resources, 99.5% SLA), and Premium Tier (minimum spend, SSO, Private VPC, 99.9% SLA). New Features by Tier comparison table added; Cloud Inference benefits added to managed tiers: Free Cloud Inference With Selected Models available in Free Tier; Free Tokens for Paid Inference Models included in Standard Tier. Previously Cloud Inference was not listed as a tier-level feature. Pulse files it as a packaging change (package change, feature added) with an upward direction.
It lands 17 days after Qdrant's previous change, "Qdrant moves to usage-based tiers with free AI inference tokens" (Mar 17, 2026). Before that Pulse recorded "Qdrant Updates Pricing Model: Hybrid Cloud Costs Now Available as 'Custom Price on Request'" (Jan 12, 2026). Qdrant has been tracked since 2023-12-22.
In the same window Pinecone, Algolia and Elastic also changed their AI & Machine Learning pricing pages. Those moves are listed further down, and the Pulse Agent can compare them side by side.
