What happened

Between the Dec 29, 2025 and Mar 30, 2026 captures of Aiven's pricing page, Pulse recorded one change: Aiven removed the 'All networking cost included' row from its plan comparison table on every tier (Free, Startup, Business, Premium), where it had previously been a checkmark for all plans. Networking/data transfer moves out of the all-inclusive bundle and is handled separately, with high-volume usage directed to Sales. In detail: Networking changed from 'all cost included' to metered consumption with fair usage policy. New 'Network & Data Transfer' section added; high-volume users must contact Sales for rates. Pulse files it as a packaging change (package change) with a neutral direction. Pulse's latest capture (Sep 21, 2026) lists Developer at $5, Hobbyist at $12, Startup at $75, Business at $180 and Premium at $270.

Aiven's previous recorded change was "Aiven Boosts Premium and Business Plans with 4x Increase in Cluster Storage Capacity" (Q2 2025). Before that Pulse recorded "Aiven Doubles RAM Capacity for Startup Plan VMs from 2 GB to 4 GB" (Q1 2025), "Aiven Removes AWS Transit Gateway and PrivateLink Add-ons from Kafka Plans, Introduces Aiven for Valkey" (Q2 2024) and "Aiven Introduces Tiered Storage Add-On for Business and Premium Plans, Enhancing Kafka Data Management Options" (Dec 2023). Aiven has been tracked since 2024-10-01.

In the same window MongoDB and Confluent also changed their Cloud & DevOps pricing pages. Those moves are listed further down, and the Pulse Agent can compare them side by side.
