Wisprflow extended its HIPAA and BAA compliance coverage to Notetaker.

What changed
Wisprflow moved its Notetaker meeting-notes feature inside the scope its HIPAA-ready, signed-BAA compliance covers. Both Notetaker and Scratchpad had previously been excluded from that compliance scope; now, per Wisprflow's pricing page, only Scratchpad remains excluded on BAA accounts. Pulse detected the change on Nov 7, 2026.
Why it matters
For product leaders selling into healthcare or other regulated accounts, compliance scope is itself a packaging lever: a feature stuck outside a signed BAA is effectively unusable for that segment no matter how good it is. By pulling Notetaker inside its HIPAA and BAA boundary, Wisprflow removes an adoption blocker for compliance-sensitive teams without touching price or plan structure — a low-cost way to widen addressable usage.
Watch whether Scratchpad, the one feature still excluded, gets the same treatment next; that would put every Wisprflow feature inside its BAA scope for regulated accounts.
In context
Wisprflow last changed its pricing page on Nov 1, 2026, per Pulse's tracking, six days before this one, when it dropped exact numeric limits on its Free plan and made Pro meeting time unlimited — continuing a cadence of roughly one change every 15 days since Pulse began tracking the company on Aug 3, 2026. Pulse tracked 301 of the 2,703 pricing changes across 251 companies as feature-access changes in the last 180 days. That crowded pattern recently included Snowflake, which swapped its Snowpark plan callouts for AI-agent and FedRAMP messaging on Nov 5, and Celigo, which swapped an unlimited-endpoints guarantee for vaguer enterprise language on Nov 2. The sharper read: Wisprflow is still actively reshaping its Free and Pro boundaries every couple of weeks, and narrowing its compliance exclusions looks like one more piece of that ongoing tuning rather than a one-off fix.
Common questions
Does this change what we pay for Wisprflow?
No — check your invoice or plan page if you want confirmation, but this update only shifts compliance scope; seat and plan pricing are untouched.
What should a compliance-focused team verify before relying on this?
Check directly with Wisprflow that your own signed BAA document reflects the updated scope — the pricing page's wording is not the paperwork on your specific account.
Should we expect Wisprflow to keep adjusting its compliance scope?
Possibly — Wisprflow has kept a frequent cadence of pricing-page changes since Pulse started tracking it, so another move, perhaps extending BAA coverage to Scratchpad too, wouldn't be a surprise.
