Slack replaces its 24/7 support row with Success Plans, making Premier a paid add-on on Pro
The comparison-table Support row (Pro: 24/7 support; Business+: 24/7 support with 4-hr first response; Enterprise+: 24/7 priority with 4-hr first response) is gone, replaced by Standard, Premier and Signature Success Plan rows.

WHY IT MATTERS
Every paid plan keeps the Standard Success Plan, but the higher Premier tier is bundled only on Business+ and Enterprise+; Pro teams that want it now buy it as an add-on through a sales rep, and Signature is an add-on on every plan. That makes support level a clearer reason to move up from Pro. Watch whether Slack prices these add-ons publicly or keeps them sales-only.
BY THE NUMBERS
- Premier Success Plan is now a paid add-on for Pro (included on Business+, Enterprise+)
- Signature Success Plan is an add-on on every paid plan, via sales rep
- 5 Slack changes in the last 90 days vs a typical ~71-day gap
- 8 days after the Frontline teams add-on launched (Oct 20, 2026)
THEIR RATIONALE
Slack hasn't stated a reason. The change lands during a busy stretch for the page: 5 changes in the last 90 days, faster than Slack's typical ~71-day gap, including a paid Frontline teams add-on for Enterprise+ 8 days earlier and an active test of showing Enterprise+ at $45 versus Contact sales. Naming the support tiers and selling two of the three through a sales rep fits that push toward separately sold, sales-led pieces.
THE SIGNAL
Converting a flat "24/7 support" line into named, partly paid Success Plans is a bigger step than most of the comparison-table tweaks in Slack's own history - moving templates or integration copy between tiers in 2023-2025. This is the first time support access itself becomes a named, priced product rather than a bundled plan perk. It also sits inside a much larger wave: 245 of the last 2,208 tracked pricing changes (11.1%) across 209 companies touched similar feature-tier line items in the last six months, most often at Perplexity (6) and HubSpot (5).
IN CONTEXT
Slack has been unusually active lately: 5 changes in the last 90 days against a typical ~71-day gap, landing 8 days after launching a Frontline teams add-on for Enterprise+ field workers and while Enterprise+'s $45 price is in an active test against Contact sales (shown, hidden). Turning the flat 24/7-support line into three named Success Plans, two of them sold separately, fits a broader pattern: 245 of the last 2,208 tracked changes (11.1%) across 209 companies touched similar feature-tier line items in the last six months, most often at Perplexity (6) and HubSpot (5). Slack has reshuffled line items before, such as templates between Pro and Business+ in late 2024, but this is the first time support access becomes a sold product rather than a bundled perk.
