Tiger Data overhauls performance specs: IOPS doubled and bandwidth renotated to MB/s with major real-world increases
What changed
I/O Boost changed from a purchasable add-on (16K/32K IOPS) to included plan specs with higher limits (up to 40K/80K IOPS) for Scale and Enterprise plans.
Bandwidth specs renotated from Mbps to MB/s across all plans, representing a significant actual throughput increase. Enterprise: 4,000 Mbps BW → 2,000 MB/s throughput (~4× real increase). Scale: 1,000 Mbps BW → 1,500 MB/s throughput (~12× real increase). Performance: 250 Mbps BW → 250 MB/s throughput (~8× real increase). Tigerdata has standardized on MB/s (megabytes/sec) notation.
