Datarails rebrands plans to FinanceOS, publishes its first plan comparison table, and launches the Desk add-on
Datarails overhauled its pricing page: the Datarails FP&A Professional/Premium/Expert plans were rebranded to FinanceOS Professional/Premium/Expert, a 24-row plan comparison table was published for the first time, plan cards moved to cumulative tiers naming new capabilities (Data Mapper, Lookups, Workflows, AI Storyboards) while dropping the Unlimited Dashboards claim, Datarails Cash Management became Datarails Cash, a new Datarails Desk finance ticketing add-on launched, and the embedded quote form plus the pricing FAQ were removed.
What changed
Datarails published a plan comparison table for the first time: a 24-row Feature x Professional/Premium/Expert matrix (Reporting, Planning, Dashboards, Integrations, Users, Data Mapper, Lookups, Workflows, Submit Button, File Boxes, Filters, Version Control, AI Suite, FinanceOS AI Connector, Permissions, Allocations, Custom Reports, Multiple Charts of Accounts, Currency translation, Intercompany eliminations, JV Investment Accounting, AI Storyboards, Premium Support, Additional product included) with per-plan checkmarks, introduced by 'See exactly where the plans differ below'. Previously the page showed no feature-by-plan breakdown at all.
Plan cards now name specific capabilities that were never listed before: Professional adds 'Data Mapper, Lookups, Workflows & more' and 'Full consolidation suite'; Premium adds 'AI Storyboards - board decks in one click'.
All three plans rebranded from the 'Datarails FP&A' family to 'FinanceOS': Datarails FP&A Professional/Premium/Expert are now FinanceOS Professional, FinanceOS Premium and FinanceOS Expert, each carrying the FinanceOS wordmark logo on the card.
Existing add-ons renamed and repositioned: 'Datarails Cash Management' is now 'Datarails Cash', repositioned from 'Cash forecasting & reconciliation' to 'Bank-level visibility into cash position and runway, without leaving your existing reports'; 'Datarails Month-End Close' moved from 'Workflow management & reconciliation' to 'Turn close into a governed workflow, not a chase for sign-offs'. The section is now framed as 'Purpose-built modules you can layer onto any plan'.
Card copy reframed: the 'Unlimited Dashboards, Reporting & Planning' claim was dropped from all three plans (Professional now reads 'Full reporting, planning & dashboards'), 'Datarails AI Agents' was renamed 'Datarails AI Suite', and Premium/Expert switched from standalone bullet lists to cumulative tiers ('Everything in Professional' / 'Everything in Premium').
The pricing page dropped its embedded 'Get your customized Datarails pricing' HubSpot quote form, the customer testimonial carousel, and the entire Frequently Asked Questions block (including the 'How much does Datarails cost?' answer). The page's only remaining conversion path is a 'See our FinanceOS AI Connector in action' CTA with a Request Quote button.
New add-on 'Datarails Desk' launched: a finance ticketing system with role-based task assignment, auditability, and AI-embedded ticket data, joining Cash, Month-End Close, and Spend Control add-ons.
